If course is scheduled to take effect in Spring or Summer the deadline is September 1 of the year before (For Example: Spring 2018 revisions must be submitted by 9/1/2017)
If course is scheduled to take effect in Fall the deadline is December 1 of the year before revision is to take effect (For Example: Fall 2018 revisions must be submitted by 12/1/2017)

The Curriculum Committee CANNOT guarantee timely review of proposals received after the deadlines. Further, it is the policy of the Curriculum Committee to give priority to proposals that are the result of Program Review.
If not, please send your departmental or program staffing plan, clearly indicating the increased personnel costs. The plan must be approved by the Academic Dean.
If you answered yes, you must also fill out a "Proposal for revision of major or minor requirements" form.
Any costs requiring increased budget lines must be pre-approved by the Associate Dean for Academic Budget and Planning or the Associate Provost. If applicable, please send statements of approval.
In order to complete a major, every student must meet the capstone requirement described by the department or program responsible for the major. The course or courses constituting the capstone must be taken at CSB/SJU - that is, the requirement cannot be met by work that has been accepted by the institution as transfer credit.
