We embrace that there is no one word that defines the diverse experiences that we have as individuals and communities with nature.

Share your stories of what nature means, the ways it makes it's way into daily life, or the impact that it has on you or your community.

As an ongoing effort by Outdoor U (an organization of CSB/SJU) and the CSB and SJU Senates, we aim to amplify and elevate voices and experience that are often overlooked by the dominant narrative of nature, the outdoors, and the environment.

Narratives/experiences can be presented in any medium you prefer (a video, writing, poem, pictures, etc.) and will be shared on a new page of the Outdoor U website that focuses on amplifying diverse voices in the outdoors and becoming a more inclusive community. CSB/SJU students, faculty, staff, and alumni are all welcome to submit.
