Community Engaged Learning (CEL) Shuttle Sign Up

Important Information - Please Read

The CSB/SJU Service-Learning Program recognizes the need for transportation to service-learning sites. A shuttle run by the service-learning program is available at no cost for student use to and from their site. The shuttle runs Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays and follows the schedule below:

Mondays

Leave CSB at 2:30 p.m
(“drop-off” loop only)

Leave CSB at 5:00 p.m
(“drop-off” & “pick-up” loop)

(Bus will pick up students at Kennedy, return to CSB & then proceed to other sites.)

Leave CSB at 7:30 p.m
(“pick-up” loop only)

Tuesdays

Leave CSB at 2:30 p.m
(“drop-off” loop only)

Leave CSB at 5:00 p.m
(“drop-off” & “pick-up” loop)

(Bus will pick up students at Kennedy, return to CSB & then proceed to other sites.)

Leave CSB at 7:30 p.m
(“pick-up” loop only)

Wednesdays

Leave CSB at 2:30 p.m
(“drop-off” loop only)

Leave CSB at 5:00 p.m
(“drop-off” & “pick-up” loop)

(Bus will pick up students at Kennedy, return to CSB & then proceed to other sites.)

Thursdays

Leave CSB at 2:30 p.m
(“drop-off” loop only)

(Bus will pick up students at Kennedy, return to CSB & then proceed to other sites.)

(“pick-up” loop only)

The shuttle will pick up between the HCC and BAC in the bus loop.

All times for pick up may vary slightly depending on the number of sites involved.

Safety Information

Your safety is our priority. While incidents requiring these actions are rare, we still find it important that you have all of the information so that you can take appropriate action if necessary.

· If something occurs at your site that concerns you, please feel free to email our office at [email protected] or call us at 320-363-5256. Our office is open from 8 am to 4:30 pm so if you contact us outside of these times, we will get back to you as soon as we are open again.

· If you have any concerns while at your site that need immediate attention, particularly if they involve riding the shuttle, please contact CSB Security at 320-363-5000.

· If you ever feel that you are in immediate danger or need emergency help for any reason, please call 911 for immediate help.

Please note: if it’s after 8 a.m. on the day you would like to use the shuttle, the current day is not available on the calendar and automatically defaults to the next day.

***Please be sure that if your site is only open until a certain time that you will be able to be picked up by the time they close. For example, if your site closes at 6:00 p.m., you can only take the 5:00 or 5:30 p.m. route back to CSB***

In the event that my reservation needs to be cancelled, I will notify Claire Lentsch at [email protected] as soon as possible. I understand that riding the shuttle is a privilege and misuse of this service may result in termination of my ridership.
