IEJ Request for Resources and Faculty Contacts

Consistent with the Joint Faculty Senate's Statement on George Floyd, the Inclusion, Equity, and Justice (IEJ) subcommittee would like to create a resource page that students and faculty could use to better understand the diverse perspectives in our disciplines that deserve greater attention.

If you have any questions about this survey, please reach out to any of the members of the IEJ subcommittee.

Sarah Gewirtz will begin creating the resource (here is the page: https://guides.csbsju.edu/facultyresourcesantiracism) with submissions received by August 21. She will update the page periodically with additional resources submitted after that date.

For a potential example list of resources see: https://www.csbsju.edu/sociology/student-resources

(For follow up if there are any questions/clarification)

(Any resource you list below will be affiliated with this department unless specified)
Below, please list resources relevant to antiracism, diversity, or inclusion that "highlight the contributions that black, indigenous, and people of color (BIPOC) scholars have made to the progress of learning in the U.S.A. and throughout the world."

(Language drawn from JFS Statement - Faculty Commitments)

Are you interested in working with a librarian to identify additional antiracism resources or information on BIPOC scholars to build into your courses?
(A librarian will reach out to you)
