Artist Opportunities with the Visual Arts Series
The Visual Arts Series at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John's University welcomes artists to submit proposals for exhibiting their work in our gallery spaces.
Each season the Visual Arts Series presents 5-7 exhibitions from September through May, following the academic year calendar. Exhibitions are selected 12-24 months in advance with input from art faculty, students, and staff. Special consideration is given to those who have a direct academic and mission connection to the campuses and surrounding community.
Exhibitions are selected from outside proposals representing local, national and international artists. The last exhibition of the year is reserved for the Senior Art Exhibition, featuring work from the graduating senior studio art majors.
We request the following for exhibition proposals:
-Letter of introduction/intent
-A current CV/Resume
-Artist Statement
-3-5 Image examples of artwork
-Brief description of your artistic process
If selected for an exhibition, high resolution images will be requested.
